Fusion FC Program & Registration Overview


U8 Recreational Competitive Preparation Program (CPP)

Our Recreational U8 Competitive Preparation Program (U8 CPP) moves into its third year.

*There are no tryouts for the U8 CPP*
U8 CPP is a recreational development program

Training and game play will occur during the Fall of 2019, Aug-Oct, and Spring of 2020, March-May (date ranges are approximate).

Player fees are $150 for the Fall and $150 for the Spring seasons or $300 for the full 2019 to 2020 seasonal playing year.

Amounts listed include one Fusion FC uniform kit, training shirt, game field fees, indoor training field fees at Griffin Elite, referee fees, league registration fees, and Kentucky Youth Soccer Association registration and insurance.

Typically, only two teams will be created one U8* boys team and one U8* girls team and team rosters will be limited to ensure maximum playing time and small group training. Each season includes:

  • 75 minute training session will occur once per week indoors at Griffin Elite for 12 weeks
  • 8 games are played 5v5 in the recreational NKSL (Northern Kentucky Soccer League)

The goal of the program is to prepare players, parents and new coaches for a potential progression to a competitive playing environment, as well as what to look for in a club they play for, in the growth of the player, and as a parent supporting their player.

*Under current youth soccer age guidelines U8 Recreational is represented by the 2012 and 2013 birth years.
